About Me

The girl that takes chances

“Never be afraid to take a chance, it might be the best choice you ever make.” Jordan lives by this quote, her first big “chance” landed her the opportunity of a lifetime. She applied for a serving position when she was 20 at a vacation Resort in Germany called The Edelweiss Lodge and Resort. Nervous to leave her family and friends, she gained the courage to take the risk and it was the best choice she ever made. The opportunity to serve guests while traveling the world opened her eyes in multiple ways. Jordan traveled to over 15 different countries, experienced culture shocks, saw countless historic monuments and made many emotional memories. Some insights into places visited and horizons expanded are to be found on her instagram- Instagram

While traveling Europe, life skills emerged. Adaptability, empathy, social skills and the meaningful relationships built along the way mold you into who you are. This is the main reason why Jordan wanted to pursue a career in public relations.

Jordan has developed a great amount of skill during her time at Virginia Commonwealth University. These skills include creating PR Campaigns using strategy and tactics, using graphic design to create ads and other marketing projects and learning how to write important PR assignments like OP EDs, email pitches and news releases. All of these skills are shaping Jordan into a person who is passionate in obtaining her goals so she can become a great PR practitioner.

Jordan has worked in the hospitality industry for over six years. From being a server in Germany to becoming a bar supervisor at the Grand Hotel in Michigan to local restaurant The Boathouse, she is an event team member who effectively solves problems and interacts with guests everyday. Jordan's biggest goal related to PR is to plan events that evoke positive change and make a measurable impact for organizations. This may be a challenge, but there’s no reward without risk and she has a track record of taking the chances that pay off.
